Mesotherapy places small amounts of vitamins, minerals, amino acids or non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid into the skin to support hydration and quality. It is not a facelift and does not remove tumours or deep sagging.
Who it may be for
Adults seeking modest improvement in dull or dehydrated skin, without active infection or known allergy to components, may be candidates. Pregnancy and certain skin diseases are exclusions.
How the procedure is performed
After cleansing, multiple superficial injections are given. Sessions are outpatient and often repeated in a series. Sun protection afterwards is important.
Recovery
Pinpoint marks, redness and small bruises last a few days. Makeup is often delayed 24 hours.
Risks and consultation
Bruising, infection, nodules, pigmentation change and little visible effect can occur. Product choice must be licensed for the intended use.
